Hi,
First of all, thanks for visiting my webpage.
Let me introduce myself. My name is Hans-Werner Klein, I am 48 years old, I live in Cologne, Germany and I’m the man behind this site. I started airplane photographing in 1973. After a few month of testing films I decided to use Kodachrom II ( later K25 ) for my shooting of airliners and military transporters. From the early beginning my favourite airplanes were - and still are - old piston props and the noisy four-engine jets. My principal airports in the 1970‘s were Cologne, Duesseldorf and Frankfurt. Since 1984 I made many dedicated spotting trips to various airports around the world. First of all to the United States, especially to Miami, my favourite airport during the past 15 year. I also spend some nice time at many airports in Central Europe, Middle East and Asia. The result of almost 30 years photographing airplanes is a collection of more than 30.000 slides. Some pictures you will find on this page. In August 2002 I made a step forward and bought a digital camara. From now on I mainly take digital pics.
Well, enough talk, go ahead and enjoy the pictures. Hope you will visit this website again.
